We got engaged at Waterdrinker Farm out east on Long Island. We went just us two and brought one of our best friends with us to watch our dog, Gia, when I popped the question. Sabrina had been begging me to go there to go pumpkin picking and when I saw that they had a sunflower farm there I knew that was going to be the place I would ask her to be my wife! Everything worked out great and we had our family secretly hiding nearby who got to witness the whole thing!

I planned a trip for Joe and I to go pumpkin picking on an October day. When we got there we decided to walk through the sunflower fields first. In the middle of the sunflower field Joe got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. Soon after I said yes, our families came running through the sunflower field cheering for us. I was so surprised considering I only planned this trip pretty much the night before!

For our engagement photos we wanted to do a beachy location. It was a rainy cloudy day but we chose to still take our photos and we are so happy we did! We started at Danford’s in Port Jefferson first before visiting McAllister Park which Katie recommended, and when she mentioned it we both knew that that was going to be the perfect spot for us. We were just in awe over how amazing the location was!!

My favorite thing about Sabrina is how much love she has in her heart for family and friends; and of course her unfiltered honesty, which sometimes makes her funny, too. LOL!

Joe is my favorite person ever! I love the way we are able to joke and laugh through everything together. I love his patience, compassion, and the love that he has for our puppy, Gia.

After months of trying on so many dresses, I finally found a white flowy dress that fit my vision perfectly at Kara New York clothing store. The morning of our engagement shoot I decided I wanted to do two different looks and luckily I already had a dress that was perfect for it.

I think the best thing about our engagement so far is looking at/planning our future together. We both get very excited thinking about what the future will bring.

We can’t wait for our first look on the wedding day and to get to spend the entire day together. We're also excited to celebrate with all our family and friends and finally getting to marry each other! We had the best time during our engagement shoot and felt so comfortable in front of the camera! We cannot wait to do it all again for our wedding!
